P.S. Next time I'll bring a flashlight, more rooms under this forgotten temple.

Fading Protection
About walls. Built to keep others out or "the others" in?
Shot this morning on the way home after a stop at the train station. Leaving town tomorrow with the night express. Few remaining section of the wall surrounding the city still stands. Slanting piles of clay bricks purposeless stopping no one and his thoughts. I see labour and toil. Time erase everything.

Your Own Demons
"Thats what you did. You died. You did not know what it was about. You never had time to learn. They threw you in and told you the rules and the first time they caught you off base they killed you. Or they killed you gratuitously like Aymo. Or gave you the syphilis like Rinaldi. But they killed you in the end. You could count on that. Stay around and they would kill you."
Ernest Hemingway - A Farwell To Arms (1929)

What I see every morning, waking up at around 6:30, mosquito netting keeping the bugs out but letting the cool night air in. Suns ray having difficulties penetrating a hazy morning sky.
Lots of rules in this temple. Many foreign visitors and who knows what might happen if they were to linger and be "foreign". As always, the locals tend to be the noisiest and least "well behaved".
